Client-Side Representation for a Paris Pied-à-Terre
A Franco-Spanish couple based in Madrid wished to acquire a pied-à-terre in Paris. I was involved upstream of the project, well before the identification of a property, to structure the search and secure the feasibility of the operation.
Working alongside a real estate partner, we identified a property with significant transformation potential. The acquisition strategy was built jointly between the real estate agent, the interior architect, and myself, with the objective of creating a duplex apartment through the integration of existing attic space.
The clients travelled to Paris on several occasions: prior to purchase, during construction, and once specifically to validate part of the furniture selection. Throughout the process, I ensured continuity and decision-making consistency despite their distance, acting as their on-site representative.
My role covered the full scope of client-side representation: program definition, budget framework, coordination with the interior architect and contractors, scheduling oversight, and continuous site supervision. I also managed the reception of part of the clients’ personal belongings and supervised their final installation based on a predefined layout plan.
The project was delivered turnkey, fully furnished and ready for immediate occupancy. The handover concluded with a celebratory reception, marking the successful delivery of a functional, coherent, and welcoming Paris residence.
